Palauan Deepwater Cardinalfish

It may be possible that the species may occur in deeper water and migrate to shallow water for spawning or feeding (Ref. 58473). Reported from a cave facing the drop off of the fringing reef of Palau at a depth of about 20 m (Ref. 93890).
