Lactuca canadensis (Canada Lettuce) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Milichiella lucidula, Holcopasites heliopsis, Sciara atrata, and Xylota angustiventris. Individuals can grow to 1.3 m.
