Polygonum aviculare (Knotgrass) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Mata AtlâNtica. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Syritta pipiens and Dock Bug. Individuals can grow to 0.26 m.
