Ranunculus eschscholtzii (Eschscholtz's Buttercup) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Phaonia monticola, Hiatomyia hecate, Macrophya, and Phaonia protuberans. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
