Canada Goldenrod

Solidago canadensis (Canada Goldenrod) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, Eastern North America, Western North America, Alaska, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Bronzed Cutworm, Syritta pipiens, Viceroy, and Red-legged Grasshopper. Individuals can grow to 3.5 feet.
