Salix cinerea (Grey Willow) is a species of shrub in the family Salicaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Grey Willow is native to Kazakhstan, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Poland, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia, Spain, Azerbaijan, Hungary, the Netherlands, France, Norway, Belarus, Belgium, Estonia, Albania, Czech Republic, Italy, Latvia, Moldova, Austria, Greece, Finland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Denmark, Romania, Sweden, and Russia. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Egle minuta (Meigen 1826). Grey Willow is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 3.8 m.
