Salix polaris (Polar Willow) is a species of shrub in the family Salicaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Alaska and Canada. Polar Willow has simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Tiger Flies. Polar Willow is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.2 feet.
