Silene acaulis (Moss Campion) is a species of perennial herb in the family carpetweeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Greenland, Western North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Alaska. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Spilogona, Oeneis brucei, Sympistis, and Tiger Flies. Individuals can grow to 0.035 m.
