Leontopodium er ei planteslekt i korgplantefamilien som inkluderer edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum^[2][3]), ei velkjend plante frå Alpane. I sjeldne tilfelle kan edelweiss referere til slekta.^[4] Slekta har om lag 30 artar heimehøyrande i Europa og Asia (og kan hende i Americas).^[5][6]
