Vespula pensylvanica (Western Yellowjacket) is a species of Hymenoptera in the family Vespidae. They are native to United States, Canada, and Mexico. They visit flowers of sweet fennel, strawberry tree, Himalayan blackberry, and Hooker's evening primrose. They are diurnal.
