Morfologia

Hàbitat

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 540-2070 m de fondària.^[5]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al Pacífic sud-occidental: Nova Zelanda,^[7] Mar de Tasmània, sud de Tasmània^[8] i Austràlia (Victòria).^[9][5]

The serrulate whiptail or serrulate rattail, Coryphaenoides serrulatus, is a rattail of the genus Coryphaenoides, found around southern Australia and New Zealand, at depths of between 750 and 2,000 m. Its length is between 30 and 45 cm.

Coryphaenoides serrulatus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van rattenstaarten (Macrouridae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1878 door Günther.

新西蘭突吻鱈，為輻鰭魚綱鱈形目鼠尾鱈科的其中一種，分布於西南太平洋澳洲、紐西蘭海域，屬深海底棲性魚類，深度540-2070公尺，體長可達45公分，棲息在底層水域，生活習性不明。
